were allmost one big beach, not much land besides coast..

no most of the coast is big sand dunes, who we maintain and upograde with lots of sand, if nessesairy. we allso have some of the widest beaches in teh world, thats a big buffer.
its the river deltas that are the problem, and the rives themselves too.
if theres lots of melting water coming from the alps, or if theres springtide (another word for storm influenced tsunami) we are screwed, and thats where we need all the dams and dykes for, and allso if we stop pumping away groundwater in the lower parts, we basically just become a big swamp again.
