Can't do anything at home with $12 billion a month on Iraq. (Feb 2008)

And if we don't have military spending we may not have a home.

Protect consumers with Credit Card Bill of Rights. (Feb 2008)

Consumers need to use credit cards responsibly.

More accountability in subprime mortgages. (Feb 2008)

That I agree with - cut out the subprime mortgages or limit the mortage to what the buyer could reasonably be able to afford.

Bush stimulus plan leaves out seniors & unemployed. (Jan 2008)

Cant prove it by me - I got a check and people I know who were unemployed also got one.

Voted against limiting credit to 30%, because 30% too high. (Jan 2008)

If you're talking about interest on credit cards, 30% is too high; but again no one is forced to use credit cards.

Account for every single dollar for new proposed programs. (Jan 2008)

That, in and of itself, is a rediculous statement.

Help the homeowners actually living in their homes. (Jan 2008)

If these homeowners don't have jobs, they should try getting one; if they have jobs, there are many ways people can choose to live within their means.

Bankruptcy bill pushed by banks &. (Jan 2008)

It's a partial statement, but in any event bankruptcy affects everybody negatively because creditors are going to get their money one way or another - or go out of business themselves.

Lack of an energy policy is a financial burden. (Jan 2008)

So stop worrying about all the extreme eco-nuts and do something.

Bush & GOP dug budget hole; need years to dig out. (Dec 2007)

Ah, Bush - he made a lot of mistakes but so did the Democrats in Congress. There's enough blame to go around.

Save $150 billion in tax cuts for people who don't need them. (Dec 2007)

These tax cuts for people who "don't need them" is the mantra to raise the ire of the "have nots" who are not thinking at all.

Take China "to the mat" about currency manipulation. (Dec 2007)

Can't comment to this.

Rejects free market vision of government. (Oct 2007)

THIS WE KNOW!

Regulate financial instruments to protect home mortgages. (Aug 2007)

It's not so much the regulation of financial instruments as the responsibility of the homeowner to live within his means.

Government regulation needed for when markets fail. (Aug 2007)

Government ownership of private business is not good. How about if people start being more honest and less greedy.

Return to PayGo: compensate for all new spending. (Oct 2006)

Not sure what you're talking about here. If it's payday loans, they're one of the worst things that ever happened for poor people or people who can't manage their money. Compensating for all new spending means ... what?

Bush's economic policies are not working. (May 2004)

And Obama's certainly won't work either.

Supports federal programs to protect rural economy. (May 2004)

There are federal programs to protect the rural economy - but it doesn't seem to do much good for small farmers.

Voted NO on paying down federal debt by rating programs' effectiveness. (Mar 2007)

Don't think his mind works in any way toward reducing federal debt - sounds more like he's got plans to deep-six the entire economy.

Voted NO on $40B in reduced federal overall spending. (Dec 2005)

Ditto.

Get minorities into home ownership & global marketplace. (Jan 2001)

He's already done that and look at the shitty economic mess we're in.

Require full disclosure about subprime mortgages. (Dec 2007)

There were people who did give out warnings about subprime mortgages ... and it was Democrats in Congress who fought tooth and nail (or in Barney Frank's case - gums and nails) to bar any action.

It sounds like to me that your only interest is in having minorities be given everything and anything they want without having to raise a finger to get out and get it for themselves. And that's a huge part of the problem.

Default Obama

Hears your voices and wants to unify The United States of America and I suggest you embrase his leadership instead of childish racial sniping.
