Default Scientists Announce Alzheimer's Cure in Minutes

Researchers at the Institute for Neurological Research at the University of California have announced that they have discovered a revolutionary new way of reducing the symptoms of Alzheimer's by injecting patients with anti-arthritic drugs.

The scientists say the treatment reduces the symptoms of the disease in a matter of minutes and gave a 90 per cent respond rate to their trials using 50 patients in a private clinic.

The Alzheimer's Society's helpline phone lines were jammed within minutes of the BBC reporting the news by people demanding details of the treatment. Experts have urged caution saying more tests are needed before drawing conclusions.

Such great news! I have a friend whose father had Alzheimer's bad. One time my friend asked if he wanted to try LSD and he said yes. After taking it he remembered just about everything he had forgotten. He was so distressed though to learn he had Alzheimer's that he made my friend promise to never give him LSD ever again because he would rather not know that he has it. After 8 hours he started forgetting things again. He is dead now. But this is good news for those who are still living.

It probably has some genetic component, even though it's said not to. I have several members of my birth family with it. Too coincidental.

Eating out of and preparing food in aluminum containers and cookware is suspected of causing alzheimers. I would also suspect teflon cookware as well.

I've heard that too. At one point, they all lived together in a HUGE mansion...I suppose that could be the link instead of genetics.
