Chris Clark made the best investment of his life in 1994 when he registered the internet domain name ‘pizza.com’ for just $20. He has since sold the name for $2.6 million dollars.
Clark had been making money using the domain as an online pizza delivery directory until he heard that ‘vodka.com’ had sold for $3 million dollars. Realising he could earn a crust, he turned to an online auction site.
"In '94, you could have just registered everything and anything," Clark said. "I think about that now, yeah.”
