Default Gloobal Wirming

I don't think these threads even belong in Sci/Tech any longer. A couple more nails in this particular coffin is generating very little interest. Most MSM outlets just ignore contrary information anyway....like the NY Times, and when faced with competing stories, will go with the ones that reflect their own biases, regardless of how bizarre they might be, (4 billion people are supposed to be dead in 18 months...from global warming, for instance).

The latests, ocean temperatures are down....quite a bit, which is the exact opposite of what ocean temperatures on a warming planet should be doing. Arctic ice has increased....more now than there was this time last year, (anyone seen this reported in the news? Anyone? Beuller?). Another 'flaw' has been discovered in the global climate models, (we can call it a flaw, I suspect the Doom N' Gloomers knew about it all along, and chose to remain silent on the matter....like Hansen, of NASA, (I'll leave Gore out of this particular discussion, as he's nothing more than snake oil salesman, out to make a buck)). This flaw modeled the earth's atmosphere as an infinitely tall column of air. Which, it aint, and which it can't accurately be used to predict climate changes.

And there's more. A biased GISS temperature measuring network which does not agree with more accurate satellite measurements...(and there are two independent space based programs in operation, plus a related third, called 'Aqua'...try looking that up on CNN). Climate models that predicted clouds would add a positive reinforcement to CO2 warming, when the reverse, Cloud cover tends to have the opposite effect, is true, and measurable. Highly 'fudged' models, stuffed with dozens of inexplicable variables to both allow the model to dupli***e what the climate has done so far, and to predict increasing warming in the future. The climate models are wrong....again...and this should not surprise anyone. Just....don't expect a lot of this to be printed in tomorrow's NYT's, or given much air time on CNN.

I'm not going to bother linking anything, unless someone asks. I think this whole thing is about dead. I just hope it's death is enough to stop the mad rush to tax, and regulate CO2.

Even the Global Warming High Church recognizes they have rode their horse off the track. They are rebranding as being against "Climate Change".

They don't miss a trick. There are millions of dollars in speaking fees at risk! We must ACT NOW to save globull worming. I'm swapping out all my CFL's for the more carbony pots of burning crude oil.

the global warming unicorn said that global warming is for serious. My invisible friend merv told me the global warming unicorn came to him in a dream.

How do you explain the coral die offs that have been recorded in waters with no warming, and no measurable pollutants? And how do you explain coral die offs in light of the fact that global ocean temperatures are declining, not rising?

P.S. While you're at it.....google 'aqua', and 'nasa' together, and let me know what you find.

It's not that anyone denies that temperatures change...that's part of what climate means to us. It's the amount of warming that can be traced back to the activities of mankind, and the extent/magnitude/sign of various climatic responses to warming. The much bally-hooed models, that the World Wide AGW fan club is so fond of using, assumes all the important forcings are going to be positive. So here's some homework...find me an example...anywhere in the universe, where a natural system is dominated by positive feedback mechanisms, yet remains stable for billions of years. Just one example. That's all I ask.

Gasp!

There are now TWO sunpots, and the potential for a third! ZOMG, and other words of amazement!
