Just isn't happening. Record lows, record snowfall, record ice increases, (north and south poles). And even though St. Algore likes to claim that the sun has no effect on climate, it's hard not to notice that the sun is behaving in a rather odd fashion. Sunspots, specifically....along with a few other things, are at an historic low. We're a year into this solar cycle, and have so far seen for this entire year, fewer sunspots than we would expect to see over the period of a month. (NASA did see ONE last month though. /cheer). Based on all the doom n' gloom consensus scientists, I would have expected all that nasty CO2 we've been pumping into the atmosphere to shield us from the vagaries of the sun. Funny how that just does'nt happen, isn't it?

Oh....and just for fun, estimates of deaths from just one failed global growing season tops one billion. But worry not, oh Green Minded Lefties, they'll almost all be poor brown people....leaving you free to pursue the American dream of a Prius, and eco friendly lightbulbs!

GW's have their faith in predictions that can't be proven wrong until years later, when disaster doesn't strike. It's like saying that 10 years from now, we have proof that DM will molest a 5 year old boy. So we'd better arrest him now to make sure it won't happen.

There's that, and there's also the issue where they cite any weather that could be considered 'abnormal' as proof of GW. Colder, wetter, drier, warmer, windier, etc, etc, etc. It all proves global warming. The first theory in the history of histories that can't be disproven with contrary evidence, because GW theories confidently predicts everything. It's the grand unified theory of everything. I'm ever amazed by it all.

I remain convinced that GW is a liberal plot designed to redistribute wealth globally. An emotionally charged, media driven fear of death and devastation used to create hatred of the wealth and capitalism responsible for destroying the planet. In other words - The planet won't be safe until everyone is poor.

Certainly there are logical liberals. You're one of them. And on the other side of the coin, there are plenty of illogical conservatives, (how else can you explain John McCain?).

For the top tier zealots, this is completely true. But those private jets are'nt there for show, or simple luxury...they need them, so they might jet around the globe, educating the unwashed, and ignorant masses, and to various other parts of the world so they might pat each other on the back, and give each other glamorous awards, and lavish dinners.

And make money selling Carbon Indulgences...errrr...Credits.
