Actually.....and they're doing this in the U.S. now......they change the light timing just a teensy bit on intersections with cameras. They don't say anything about that, of course, and the motoring public has no idea the yellow lights on those intersections are one or two seconds shorter than non surveiled intersections. So they get caught running red lights, thus generating revenue for the cities that installed them. With the added bonus of a mark on their driving record, for doing nothing wrong.

I don't give a shit what happens in the UK...those poor fools made their bed, they can lie in it. Here in this country, the govt has no business monitoring it's citizens with cameras, or anything else.

Yeah you're right about the first part mouse, although mostly these people just hide behind that excuse when really they just want to be able to drive faster and not get caught.
