Hell mike my daughter and her husband have trouble putting food on their table. In fact we just talked today about tomorrow when I take her to the store so they can get something to feed the kids. Along with that I'm buying the turkey dinner so that next week we can all eat together.
They have TV's in every room hooked up to Direct TV premium package. They both have I phones, they have 4 cars and the kids get every new toy that hits the market.
My daughter is in college and my son in law works full time at a good paying job. When he gets paid next Wednesday, they will be broke again in days.
Are they poor because they have to borrow from me to feed themselves? Hell no they just have a screwed up sense of priorities.
So then not having food can't be the measure of poverty now can it. One needs to look at the whole package doesn't one?
