Everyone knows that the reason there is such a dark underbelly to the American drug culture is because its illegal. If weed was legal, it would be worthless as you can grow it in your home. If cocain was legal, then there wouldnt be people with guns fighting to get it into the US and alot of THIER money that is a result of the blackmarket would disappear.

Also, Viking, you say youre for freedom. How does someone selling sex, and somone buying it, affect you? Its a buisness transaction and doesnt affect you at all. I mean, I dont like Starbucks, but it doesnt bother me that they exist.... If you buy a coffee it wont affect me in ANY way.... And if you buy a blowjob it wont affect me, either... even here right now, the christian parties are having attempt no. 300 to re-ban pot smoking. they just cant accept it. they ar eallso trying to ban smoking now, but it looks more and mroe like it that theyll loose at some point, which is funny as hell. in germany, allready the ban has failed miserably.

Abortion doesn't directly affect me, nor does slavery, lynching of black folk, or a school shooting at an elementary school.

But since I am a compassionate human being, I do care.

When civil rights are denied to people, it is incumbent on those, even if one is not personally affected, to speak out against a cruel and inhumane practice.

Abortion deprives human beings of their civil rights. There is no equal protection when one deems an innocent person worthy of death. There is no justice, no due process, only cruel selfishness. Might does not make right.

Now even if there is no direct impact personally, there are indirect consequences. Women who abort often deal with psychological problems stemming from the termination of a life that they cannot restore. Abortive women have higher rates of depression, suicide, and alcohol and drug abuse, along with a higher increase in future pregnancies not coming to full term.

Actions have consequences.
