your states should have a meeting without the fed involved, and determin together how much theya re gonna take from the fed and what not. that would easyly change ev erything, since your fed is nothing without the states.
The States used to have more say so in the workings of the Federal Government... US Senators used to be voted on by the State Legislatures. The citizens didn't directly vote for them. This gave the State Government a say so in what happened in the Federal Government. This was changed in 1913, the same year that the Federal Reserve Act was signed...

not sure which is better, voting for your senators seems a good idea too, but the other idea is more direct democracy, if youd have some sort of influence over whether those senators do tehir jobs properly.
that fed.reserves bank of yours should be nationalised.

The people vote for our Representatives in the House... thats why they are called that. They represent the PEOPLE. Our Senate should be voted on by the State governments. The people would still have a say because we vote on our State Legislatures and Governors. I just feel that, as it stands, the States have NO voice in the Federal government.

Agreed. The Federal Reserve System is unConstitutional.

| WOW! all this right-to-bear-arms stuff is just skirting the issue. How can somewhere else be closing prisons for lack of inmates while the US is letting child molesters go and do it again and citing prison overcrowding? ???? Children are not just dying but going thru the worst terror & pain with no skills or hope to call on like an adult might use to give them hope thu some of it... If we can do anything right surely to god we can keep our children from experiencing that? No excuse for us if they experience it at the hands of someone we knew would do it and let them free to do it. If the Dutch don't have enough bad guys then we need to pay big attention to how they do it. For just one little girl that is going to be in the middle of nowhere tortured unto death.

| i do think a big reason we have too much space right now, is that they put more then one prisoner in one cell, about 5 years ago. back then we had a shortage. now theres talk of reversing that, and give them all individual cells again.
