One did.

One helped out with the SF Tea Party - and gave one of the speeches.

We had 500-600 people turn out in SF on a workday - a lot of people took a vacation day from work.

The event was fabulous - serious but good natured. People acted civilized - and were very articulate with why they were there: concerns that expanding government scope, opporessive taxation, and Gobs-o-Debt are huge risks to Individual Liberty.

No. It was cold, windy, and raining here.

If it's not within walking distance, I can't really afford to go anywhere right now.

I would loved to have gone to the one in Knoxville but I have never been in the downtown area and don't know how to get anywhere ... or where I could park.

I did, however, take a "tour" of the various parties around the country via Fox News.  You're right, Boe, every single place had a great crowd, good reasons for being in the crowd ... and there was a HUGE absence of rioting, tear gas, window smashing, brawling, etc.  I hope the tea parties will become a growing "epidemic" of people concerned about the welfare of the country.

Oh, that was you???

Just kidding... I wasn't at that one.

I attended the well-attended Sacramento tea party featuring distinguished people such as Tom McClintock and Michael Reagon. Neil Cavuto did a live feed from there. Michelle Malkin was also there, but didn't give a speech to the crowd.

Then after I left Sac-town, I went to the tea party in Pleasanton for the last 30 minutes of their official rally. Saw some old friends as KSFO's Barbara Simpson was concluding her speech.

Then I got back in San Jose by 7pm and that rally had just finished, though there were still plenty of people lingering. They also had some counter-demonstrator thugs crying about the illegal aliens. Police were there as the thugs tried to storm the stage.

Good day, nice peoples.
