It's not really a sauna, but it might as well be one. It's my dad's tool shack that i work at. It's in a garage shed building with no ac and two fans, also no insulation. It might just be actually hotter than hell in there when the humidity is kicking and it's 90 degrees. It sucks........ really.

Is anyone familiar with Etsy.com?

So has anyone ever visited the site Etsy.com? It's a place where people sell all sorts of handmade things. Jewelry, purses, clothes ect. I ask this bc i was thinking of putting some of the jewelry i make on it for sale, but i wonder how good the sales are and how many people shop there. I have always loved jewelry and gems and stones. I have a nice collection from over the years. I used to work at a jewelry store for 3 years and that sparked my interest on making it, being i had to do repairs and such in the store. So for about the last 8 years i make jewelry in my spare time and sell it at craft shows and such in the summer. I have gotten really creative with my work lately. I had to stop making it when i had my daughter, so it was about 2 years i had stopped making it and i just recently started again in the past few months. I'm having a hard time though bc everytime i make something somebody comes over and see's it and wants to buy it and it is for sale and so i sell it to them, but then i am having a hard time getting a table full ready for a sale i have in 3 weeks! I need to tell everyone "NO" until my sale. Some things are nice though and take alot of time to make and those things are what i want to put on Etsy. They take a very small percentage of the sale and it only cost like 8 cents to lst each item. Until i do get my things up for sale you could always go check out my friend Amber's stuff who makes jewelry also! <br><br>Amber's stuff:<br>http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5651957&ga_search_query=piecesofamber&ga_search_type=seller_usernames<br><br>Faye has a necklace i made for her birthday one year. I still do to this day love that piece! I always admire it when i see her wearing it.

Gardening

Who all here has a garden? I adopted him last week from a local humane society. I had went there with a friend who was looking for a dog. At this particular "shack" of a humane society the cat's roam wild. I was walking in when i saw the backside of this all white cat.( I once had an all white male cat with one blue eye and one green. His name was Crimson and he has a sister named Clover. I loved him deeply, beyond what my words can express. He escaped from the house one night when i got off work really late. The next morning, early in the morning, my neighbors pit bull jumped the fence and attacked and killed my cat. It's still a deep ongoing loss for me. And in all honesty it brings tears to my eyes just to tell you all about it. )Anywho back to brighter things...... This cat turned around and i saw it had a blue eye and green/yellow eye. He came up to me and i started petting him and it was love at first site. I walked in and asked for an application. I had went back later that day with my friend to pick up her dog and was looking for the cat but did not see him. Then just before we were about to leave i saw in the distance an all white cat in the woods. So i knelt down to the ground and said "here kitty" and this cat hauled ass all the way across yard right on up to me. He rolled over on the ground begging for loving. I sat there and pet him for a bit then TRIED to walk to the car. It was hard to do with the cat weaving in and out of my feet! I literally had to jump in the vehicle and close the door in order of preventing me from stealing it. That cat was trying to jump in the ar with the dog's and all. I went back a few day's later and picked him up. I felt like i had to, no option about it. I already have two cat's and really did'nt need another but it was a calling. So when i got home with him i was telling Faye all about him and she said " What is it with you finding these all white cat's with two different eye's?!?!?" Then she said " You should name him Karma" I thought about this long and hard for nearly a week and decided yes "Karma" it is.

Where is Faye?

She' been kind of quiet around here lately.............

United States Of Tara

Anybody seen it? The reason why i have such a liking for them is bc they are passionate unique creatures. When they mate, they mate for life. What a powerful thing to do, to love only one your entire life. That is a love so strong, it must be respected. When it comes to love, they have us beat. They never get a divorce. I find it to be a very respectful quality to be capable of devoting yourself and loving another with such an eternal devotion. When their mate dies, they often die themselves. They die from grief, from such sorrow and sadness and lost it makes them sick, it makes them weak. They often mourn until their very own death. It is a sad terrible thing to see, that event taking place. I live in an area where it is extremely popular to Goose or Geese hunt. It's sick. I could never take a life like that from any other creature, for any price. A love like that is a treasure, and they are fortunate to have it, some things do not love hardly at all. Love is one of our greatest gifts we receive in this life, and to rob something of such a gift, is not cool. So here is my dedication thread to Geese. :p

Whoopi Goldberg

If i could meet anybody in the world alive today, i would want to meet Whoopi Goldberg. She fascinates me so. I have been paying more attention to her lately after being on The View for so long now. Almost every guest that comes, she knows them or has worked with them. She has worked with so many different people over the years. I seem to agree with her on most serious nad political issues. We see eye to eye. She seems passionate and humble, outspoken yet reserved. So i think to sit down and have a conversation with her would be very entertaining, amusing, and enlightening. I think i'm gonna write the t.v show "The View" and beg them to let me come meet her! I doubt they will, it probably will not ever happen, but hey, ya never know if you can have something or not unless you ask and make effort to get it first. It's not like she will ever randomly show up on my doorstep for a cup of tea. Is there anyone any of you would really like to meet and why?

I can't sleep.

Why can't i sleep, you ask? Oh bc a drunk drive slammed into my car out front at three in the morning, i had the red and blue all over the place outside. And to top it all off..........I know the drunk.........it's one of my good friends sisters. Great. My car is messed up dented in scratched from one end to the other. Could even be totaled bc the frame is bent and she hit it so hard parts off my car are hanging loose underneath. Whatever, it's going to be mighty expensive for her insurance company to take care of, bc if it's not totaled the the whole side needs to be replaced as well as a paint job, and i don't even know about the stuff hanging loose underneath. All i know is my sleep was disturbed, i freakin places to go tomorrow or today, and i got to get a tow truck to come get my car and see if i can get a loaner. Oh my, oh my.The saddest part is this chic has an 8 yr old daughter and she's on probation for some serious charges that she got less than 6 months ago, and they suspended her 5 yr sentence, well now i guess she's going to get that back plus whatever they give her for a DWI. She failed that pathetically. Poor child's gonna be missing her momma for quite some time. Probably the years she's gonna need her most, becoming a teenager and all. I'm sorry she made the choice she did to drive drunk, but the cops had to be called, and i needed a report to get my car fixed. I feel kinda guilty and i don't know why, bc i'm sure i did the right thing, it's just the thought of that lil girl, and how much she's gonna miss her mom kills me.

New York CheeseCake Hershy's Kisses

I picked up a bag at my local walmart yesterday. And it made me happy!
VICTORY!NRDC helps wolves keep endangered species protection.	Dear bridget,It's the best possible news! The Bush Administration has just announced it intends to withdraw its plan to strip gray wolves of their endangered species protection in the Northern Rockies. What a huge win for wolves AND for hundreds of thousands of online activists like you who share the credit for this amazing victory!Let me bring you up to speed. Last March, the Bush Administration declared the Northern Rockies' wolf population "fully recovered," then it handed off responsibility for the wolves to Wyoming, Idaho and Montana. Just as we predicted, a bloodbath ensued, with 110 wolves slaughtered by state agents and hunters in as many days.NRDC, Earthjustice and 11 other conservation groups raced to court and won an injunction that put a temporary halt to the killing until the full case could be heard. We fully expected to fight a drawn-out courtroom battle in order to win a permanent victory. But thanks to the Bush Administration's surrender, that battle will NOT happen. Instead, the wolves of Yellowstone and the surrounding region will remain protected by federal law. That means Wyoming, Montana and Idaho will NOT be allowed to begin the extermination of hundreds of wolves this fall as part of a massive public hunt -- the first in more than three decades. Instead, those wolves will continue to roam the Rockies -- wild and free -- as nature and the law intended! Why did U.S. Fish and Wildlife officials throw in the towel? They had to face up to the fact that their case against wolf protection would never hold up in court. Above all, they ignored the best available science showing that wolf populations had not fully recovered. In the end, the Administration had little choice but to put its tail between its legs and beat a hasty retreat.Make no mistake: the fight doesn't end here. You can be sure the federal government will be back soon enough with a new plan. And the states will learn their lessons and return with yet another scheme for killing wolves. But you can be equally sure that, with your help, NRDC will stand vigilant, fully prepared to meet and turn back any new and deadly threat. In the meantime, please join me and all of us here at NRDC in celebrating this red-letter day in the storied history of the Endangered Species Act. It happened because you and thousands of others chose to stand up in defense of embattled wildlife. Thank you!Sincerely,FrancesFrances BeineckePresidentNatural Resources Defense Council
I can make a difference, they don't have to thank me though, i do it for the ones i lurve. So take that Goerge Bush! She moved out to CA several years ago but is flying home to do it. We have been the best of friends for many years. I have gone out to CA to see her when none of our other friends have. I am close with her family and every time she comes home i always spend alot of time with her and go to her family gatherings and dinners with her. Ever since i had my baby we don't talk as much tough. When it's a good time for her, it's a bad time for me and i hate the time difference. The last time she came home i spent the least amount of time with her then i ever have, but i could'nt get a baby sitter when everyone else was going out to drink. Even though i did'nt get to see her as much last time and even though we don't talk as much anymore my feelings towards her have'nt changed and when we do talk it feels like just yesterday for me. It's going to be a small wedding. My friend last week told me she was asked to make her necklace for the wedding. ( I make jewelry too) and she also said another friend was going to be singing at the reception. Then i talked to faye who first told me that my friends mom was going to be her only brides maid but now her sister and Faye are in the wedding.I feel soooooooooo left out and my feelings are hurt soooooooo bad words can't hardly express it. So i sent her an email telling her i heard of everybody else's part in it and i felt left out and i would do anything she needed...park cars, welcome people....anything.She replied telling me she was sorry i felt left out and did'nt want to ask anything of me bc of my move and being busy with the babe, but if she happen to think of anything for me to do she would let me know and that just being there was good enough. That's not good enough for me. Sounds like an excuse. I just finished moving and she is getting married next month. Damn i can get a sitter for the wedding, i would do anything for her. I'm not really trying to discuss how i feel with her much other than what i already said, i don't want to bother or worry her. however keeping all this to myself is hurting our friendship. I have a wall up with her now that i have never had before, and at this point i will no longer be calling her my best friend. I don't even really want to go to the wedding now. I am sooooo sad everyone else is taking part but me. I sent her an email back saying i would be there and that was it. Am i being stupid or do i have a legit reason for feeling the way i am? I have been sooooo down about all of this and can't escape it from my mind.

My poor Scoobie aka Oobie

I call her Scoobie or Scoobit now.So i just finished moving to my new house, not much unpacked yet but here. I have been on the verge of loosing my mind and insisted my mom take her this weekend. So i met my mom tonight to drop off the baby bc she lives two hours away and traffic is always really bad on fridays. Scoobie is 16 1/2 months now. It's hard sometimes to to keep an eye on the big picture when you have a ton of little things running through your mind all day. I like it when i see an old couple in their 80's still inlove more than ever. It's time's like that, that humble me. To watch them, imagine their journey, the hardships and good times they've had through that many years of life, and somehow they seem so innocent, yet after 80 or so years thats about impossible, lol! It makes me really happy when i see a couple together yet so sad if i see an old person sitting alone on a park bench, i wonder how lonely they are and what their hearts yearn for at that age. We all are so different yet very much the same.Just wanted to remind everybody to smell the roses, or if you want you can share a story about what it means to you to stop and smell the roses.

Fat Cat

Awww, i want it! Reminds me of my beloved 23 pd cat Crimson.
By LEONARD GREENELast updated: 1:36 pmJuly 30, 2008Posted: 3:48 amJuly 30, 2008That is one fat cat!Meet Princess Chunk, a 44-pound hunk of feline flesh, a cat so big that she needs a bathtub for a litter box.Volunteers at a New Jersey animal shelter are trying to find a new home for the corpulent kitty - a really big home.Officials at the Camden County Animal Shelter in Blackwood say they received the cat Saturday from Animal Control after she was found wandering around outdoors with no ID tags.As hard as it is to fathom, volunteers think her owner might have lost her, which is as difficult a possibility to imagine as, well, as a 44-pound cat."I mean, how do you lose a 44-pound cat?" said shelter volunteer Deborah Wright.Wright told the Camden Courier Post that volunteers named the cat Captain Chunk until they realized it was a girl.It was probably hard to tell.Usually when people talk about fat cats in New Jersey, they are talking about members of the state legislature. Or extras in a "Sopranos" shoot. But when this portly pussycat came waddling along, they knew they had something different on their hands."She was probably fed table scraps, or may have a thyroid problem," Wright said.Veterinarians say a healthy cat should weigh between 10 and 12 pounds, and that Princess Chunk's condition could be a combination of bad genetics and way too much Meow Mix.

T.V show Psychic kids, children of the paranormal

Well this season of it just ended i think, it did come on A&E Mon. @10 p.m but now this Monday Paranormal state comes back on. :woot: I like that show. :)Anywho the kids thing, they bring a group of kids together that are the same age and they have a therapist and a guy named Chip who is a psychic medium, and they evaluate the kids to see if it's something "Real" they are experiencing and to teach them how to cope with being a person affected by the Paranormal. I really like this show and find myself relating to it. Seriously, i'm being honest and open here. These kids who are often withdrawn don't know where to turn bc most people don't believe them and they often feel very lonesome. It's wonderful seeing these kids feel excepted among peers their own age. They also work with the family's as well, giving the parents an understanding of what is going on in their children's minds. This is a subject not accepted by many people, ghosts and the supernatural world. I could of only wished they had this show when i was young. I felt like such an outsider and still do at times. I think thats why i enjoy seeing these kids comforted so, i wish i was when i was young. My parents were not really religious in any way, and that kind of discussion was not something brung up and talked about openly in my household. I tried on a few occasions to release my feelings, to tell someone what was going on and how i was feeling, what i was experiencing and seeing. Nobody wanted to hear me and i was just told that i was crazy. That certainly did'nt help me nor give me any feeling of comfort. Oh well, boo hoo about me, at least they are more open and accepting to those kinds of things now than when i was younger. It's just a good touching show to me, and i don't know why but just figured i would share this with you all.

online anti chicken colonel game

Kentucky Fried Cruelty :: Super Chick Sistersnot terribly challenging maybe but kinda intersting

Lmao

At my new forums name.
